Gandhi said that Modi's decision to demonetise old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes on November 8 past year was arbitrary and unilateral as he did not consult the RBI or anyone else in the matter.
Slammed the GST roll-out by the incumbent government, Gandhi said, "We were against the implementation of GST because the Government's version was not right".
On the first anniversary of Demonetization, Gandhi is in Gujarat to observe the day as "Black Day" and participate in the candle-light vigil by Opposition parties in Vivekanand statue in Chowk Bazar area.
