Great Get Together events have been taking place across the city all week in memory of the MP who was murdered on June 16 past year.
Catherine Pilling, 44, from Lady Bay, who organised the street party, said: "I was moved by Jo Cox's death past year and I saw her husband organising street parties to bring people together and I thought it would be a great thing to do on my street".
Mr Cox told Sky News that in keeping with his wife's message of unity the idea is to "celebrate the things that bind us together".
