More than 50 Interstate bridges in CT remain structurally deficient, according to a new study, of almost 340 statewide crossed by vehicles 4.7 million times daily.
According to a construction industry report released on Wednesday, nearly 56,000 US bridges are structurally deficient.
The number of structurally deficient bridges actually declined 0.5% from 2015, but ARTBA says that really isn't good news.
